
Our Breakfast Café is back in full swing this year offering a variety of breakfast options for all students at Kuranui from 8am every school morning until bell time. To ensure no one missed out, for those students whose buses get in late - there is food available to grab and go.
We would like to say a big thank you to Greytown Lands Trust who have kindly donated another $500 to our KC Kai Breakfast Café for 2025.
We extend thanks to our local cafe The Offering Greytown, Breadcraft Wairarapa, Freshchoice Greytown in conjunction with Molewood Orchard and the milk in schools programme for their continued daily support.
Last but not least the team effort who make it all possible - Mrs Tina Reynolds (Teacher in Charge), Mr Christopher Tittleton, Ms Nicky Wilson and Ms Gina Speedy for helping each morning along with Mrs Jane Russel and Rachel-Butler-Peck for picking up fresh scones from The Offering.
This is an important initiative as studies show regular breakfast consumption by adolescence can kick starts their metabolism, improves energy levels and help boost brain function assisting with concentration and focus to learn!
