Kuranui Swim Champs 2024 - Friday 16 February, Greytwon Pools

Compeitive and Non-compeitive events - tube racing, noghts and crosses, bomb competion, kickboard length.

2024 will conclude with a triathlon as a team or individual 3 Length swim, 1.5km run and 5km bike.

Students must enter a minimum of 3 events

Busses depart school end of period one and return for period 4.

KC 2023 Swimming Champs

The swimming sports was delayed due to the unseasonal weather to finally go ahead on one of the hottest Wairarapa days this summer. No records were broken but there was some awesome competitive swimming and a whole lot of laughter in the new fun relays to increase participation including tube racing and noughts and crosses.

Well done to Taraua winners of the Life Saving and Tube Relays, and Noughts and Crosses and  Ruamahanga who took out the 8x1 Length relay.

Mrs Patten continued her hold as BOMB Champion with tough competition from Jethro Doherty and Tia Koia. While Charlie Regnault took out the super hero glide from Peter O’Driscoll.
