Welcome from the International Director
Kia ora, and a very warm welcome to all our past, present and future international students at Kuranui College.
My name is William Donaldson and I am the International Director and a Deputy Principal here at Kuranui College. My teaching subjects are Drama, English and Visual Arts. I moved to the sunny Wairarapa 4 years ago after working in Melbourne, Australia. I have been fortunate to travel extensively and have been to many countries including Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France and Germany.I have a lot of experience in leading international programs at schools as well as coordinating exchange programs and school trips.
Studying at Kuranui College will be the best thing you can do for your education. We are a warm, welcoming and friendly school that offers a wide range of subjects and choice. We are in the best location in the Wellington region with easy access to Wellington city by train or car as well as beautiful scenic countryside with picturesque mountains. We have experience of hosting a number of international students at Kuranui College from various countries around the world including Japan, France, Germany, and many more. I am always available for my students and they can always contact me.
We have wonderful Host families that open their homes to our International students and treat them as their own children. Selecting an overseas school to study at is a big decision. I suggest you take a good look around our website and encourage you to make contact with me should you require any further information about our school. I look forward to hearing from you!
