We value all our student umpires and coaches and work to ensure that there are benefits and opportunities for them to develop and benefit through the experience:

• We work with sports organizations to provide all student coaches and umpires at least one course per season.     
  
• All student coaches are provided a mentor and an experienced manager.
• NCEA Credits are available for both Umpiring and Coaching through PE.     •  
• Umpires will also be provided opportunities in local competitions and at South Wairarapa Primary Sports Tournaments​​​​​.

In 2023/24 Student Coaches and Umpires will be provided a Sports Hoodie kindly sponsored by Property Brokers.

Summer and Winter Student Coaches Courses are held annually prior to the season starting by Nuka Ora. Registrations will be advertised in the month leading up to the course.
